Jessica Fjeld

Jessica Fjeld is a poet, teacher, and lawyer. She is the author of Redwork (BOAAT Press, 2018) and the chapbooks The Tide (Pilot Books, 2010) and On animate life (Poetry Society of America, 2006), and the recipient of the PSA's Chapbook Fellowship and a "Discovery" Poetry Prize from the 92Y Unterberg Poetry Center and the Boston Review. Her poems have appeared in Conduit, jubilat, Poetry, Shallow Ends, Sixth Finch, and elsewhere. She was born and raised in Vermont, educated at the UMass-Amherst MFA program for Poets & Writers and Columbia Law School, and now teaches in the Harvard Law School Cyberlaw Clinic, where she works legal issues related to digital media, art, and emerging technologies’ impact on human rights.
